چکیده

A basic model of stellar structure is presented here. The sun is initially modeled using four fundamental equations of stellar structure. Since these equations are not analytically solvable, they were solved numerically using the Runge-Kutta fourth order approximation. Despite several firstorder approximations that were made, resulting values for density, mass, luminosity, and temperature were correct to relative error on the order of 10^-7. The inclusion of variable chemical composition increased the accuracy of the model further still. The internal error of the numerical analysis was also on the order of 10^-7, which showed the dependability of our rudimentary models. Throughout, the mechanisms of opacity and energy generation in the stellar model are addressed.

Numerical Investigation of Effective Parameters on Efficiency of Solar Chimney

The environmental pollution crisis caused by the excessive use of fossil fuels and the risk of the destruction of natural resources and reserves, as well as the excessive production of greenhouse gases and, consequently, global warming, led many energy researchers to use renewable energy As a fossil fuel alternative. Solar chimneys are one of the types of renewable energies that have been taken...

Numerical Investigation of Roofing Materials Effect on Solar Heat Gain in Different External Conditions

In this study, the thermal performance of three kinds of roofs with different heat capacity and thermal conductivity under different external conditions has been investigated using a numerical method. For this purpose, the combined solar radiation, conduction and convection heat transfer were calculated implicitly in terms of a one-dimensional finite difference method. Different high and low so...

Enhanced optical absorption in organic solar cells using metal nano particles

In this study, for increasing absorption of the active layer in bulk hetero junction (BHJ) organic solar cells (OSCs) we used surface Plasmon effects of metal nano particles (MNPs). We embedded the MNPs inside the active layer and studied the device structure. For shown the results we investigated the model of our structure with Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) numerical method and achieved...

Numerical simulation of a solar chimney power plant in the southern region of Iran

Three-dimensional numerical simulations are performed to investigate the effects of pressure drop across the turbine and solar radiance on the performance of a solar chimney power plant (SCPP). The SCPP system expected to provide electric power to a city is located in southern region of Iran (city of Lamerd, Fars province). Its dimensions are similar to the Manzanares prototype (built in Spain,...
